Collection: Nick Veasey
Seeing what is truly inside is Nick Veasey’s manor. He owns it. An artist specialising in radiographic imaging, his work takes what the layman knows as a standard X-Ray and plays wonderfully with its boundaries.
Fusing science with art and vice versa, he takes everyday objects and transforms them into something quite spectacular. Engaging, humorous and down-right intriguing. From the punk, to Elvis through to the human driving a car and the corset, Veasey makes the ordinary become extra-ordinary.
Recently added to the British National Collection of Photography, Veasy’s work has been regularly showcased at leading art galleries the world over where by delving inside and discovering what we are really made of has tapped into today’s society with the prevalence of surveillance and the use of x-ray technology for security.
